Our charitable programs

Every program we run is designed around one question: what does this child need to be safe, learning and healthy? Four connected services answer it together.

1. Safe Shelter & Residential Care

Children who have lost parental care need stability before anything else. Our shelter program provides secure accommodation with trained, screened carers who offer consistent daily routines — regular meals, bedtimes, school preparation and play. The goal is not just a roof, but a home atmosphere where a child can begin to trust adults again.

  • Safe, supervised accommodation for children without parental care
  • Nutritious daily meals designed with child health in mind
  • Trained carers following child-safe standards and codes of conduct
  • Case planning for each child's long-term stability

2. Education Support

Grief and instability frequently push orphaned children out of school. We reverse that. Our education program handles enrolment, uniforms, books and fees, then wraps each child in tutoring and mentoring so they can catch up and keep up. We track every child's progress term by term and intervene early when they begin to fall behind.

  • School enrolment support, uniforms, books and learning materials
  • One-on-one and small-group tutoring for children behind grade level
  • Mentoring that builds confidence, aspiration and study habits
  • Pathways guidance for older children moving toward work or further study

3. Healthcare & Wellbeing

Many children come to us with untreated health issues and deep emotional wounds. Our healthcare program provides comprehensive medical assessment on entry, immunisations, dental and vision checks, and ongoing access to counselling. We use trauma-informed approaches so care heals rather than overwhelms.

  • Full health assessment and immunisation catch-up on entry
  • Regular medical, dental and vision check-ups
  • Professional counselling and trauma-informed emotional support
  • Health education so children learn to care for themselves

4. Community Outreach & Family Support

Wherever it is safe and possible, children belong with family. Our outreach team works with extended families and kinship carers, providing material support, parenting guidance and emergency relief so children can remain in or return to family care. When that is not possible, our shelter program provides the alternative.

  • Assessment and support for kinship and foster care arrangements
  • Emergency food, clothing and material aid for at-risk households
  • Referrals to legal, housing and family services
  • Community education about the needs of orphaned children
